To the editor:

I am writing to send in my appreciation to the Congresswoman for her devout support of police officers in the district and across the nation. This week is National Police Week, and while we thank the officers who make sacrifices everyday to uphold law and order, it’s important we never forget those who lost their lives in the line of duty protecting fellow citizens. My Representative Elise Stefanik (NY-21), has always backed the blue from her support of the JUSTICE Act in Congress, to the endorsements she has received from the New York State Troopers PBA and Police Conference of New York. Elise remains opposed to anti-police woke policies that put New Yorkers in danger such as bail reform and defund the police efforts. Elise fights for our law enforcement officers who ensure that our district has one of the lowest crime rates in the country and stays that way for years to come.
