To the editor:

There is something very disturbing about Donald Trump in which he is now pretending to be Christlike. He is claiming that the Biden Administration is in a war against Christians and he alone is the person who can stop it.

This man is not right in the head. Yesterday, he said the economy (which is really strong) is “running on the fumes” of what he did …what a joke, another big fat lie. The stock market is at a record high. But he hopes it crashes in the next 12 months to make Joe Biden look bad. These are overwhelmingly regular people’s retirement funds. Jobs creation is higher under Biden than under Trump.

Trump put up a video on Truth Social stating that he was created by God as a caretaker and “shepherd to mankind.” “God needed someone who is hardworking and then go to church on Sunday,” so “God made Trump.”

What is so laughable is that he’s hardly ever been in a church. Maureen Dowd, in her recent column, said “it was bound to happen, Trump passing himself off as Christlike and hardworking, of which he is neither.” He has managed to convince many poor souls in Iowa that he was sent by God, as one woman said who was interviewed on national TV.

It gets worse. Our NY-21 Rep. Elise Stefanik is now parroting Trump. She’s proven herself to be profoundly dishonest. She’s cravenly repeating the “weaponizing of the government” lie … the people who are in prison she calls “hostages” … as does Trump. These people were convicted of criminal behavior. She has glammed up and is meeting with Trump regularly. Hoping to be his VP? What has she done for our district? From where I sit, she has taken credit for bills passed by Democrats, that she voted no on. She won’t commit to certifying the election in November. Why? More of the Big Lie? She doesn’t deserve to be reelected. Republicans should be voted out en masse. They’ve done nothing except waste time and money trying to throw mud on Joe Biden. Trump is pulling the strings of the Republicans in Congress.

Donald Trump is a pathological liar. He was convicted of sexual abuse, cheated on his wives, paid off prostitutes. He’s a criminal. Hung around with Jeffrey Epstein, the sex criminal of young girls. He is a conman. Probably the greatest conman. He lies as easily as he breathes. Both his niece and sister have said he allegedly paid someone to take his SAT to transfer from Fordham to Penn. Are we surprised?

I pray the Supreme Court will not allow him to be president again. Amendment 14.3. He forfeited that right when he instigated the insurrection. He is indicted on numerous crimes. I also pray that this conman, fraudster, liar is finally in jail for all the crimes he’s committed, and goes away forever. He is no Christian. No shepherd of mankind. God help us all.
