Vote for your own interests, not your party

To the editor:

Before voting look at issues that might be critically important to your life. Drug prices in other countries are lower than in the U.S., in part because governments negotiate prices with drug companies. A recent bill would allow our government to do the same for Medicare which will lower drug prices. Stefanik voted no! The same bill would cap expenses a person would pay for needed medications each year. Stefanik voted no. The bill would cap insulin costs so diabetics don’t got bankrupt. Stefanik voted no!

Someday you, your wife, your sister, or a close friend, might for various reasons need to terminate a pregnancy. Stefanik has already stated she would vote to limit access a women’s right to choose services in every state.

Stefanik touts every dollar that comes into the North Country even when she voted no on the bills that provided the funds.

Lastly, by stating lies over and over again, Stefanik hopes she can scare you to vote against “radical, outside, democrats.” Matt Castelli is no radical. He will support issues that can improve the lives of North Country residents; he will vote for us rather than party. Even if you are a life long Republican, this is the election to get a congressperson that represents our interests. Vote for Matt Castelli.
