To the editor:

We want to say “thank you” for naming us Volunteers of the Year 2022. What an honor to be considered! Thank you to Jan, Carol and John for your kind comments.

As we had stated to Aaron Cerbone, there are many who, under the radar, do much for our community. We, and a lot more of us, have been brought up to do and be there for our neighbors whenever we can.

We have always thought that no one needs to know what it is we do and believe. All of us at one time or another have given of ourselves to help and make things work, whether it’s love of community or some other unknown.

We do greatly appreciate the acknowledgment. It’s small things done that make Saranac Lake THE greatest small town.
