At first glance, the sense of togetherness, pride, unity, and purpose shared among more than 250 runners on Thanksgiving morning is reason enough to show up — and more than reason enough to give thanks!

With a second look though, and a little momentary reflection, here’s what we’re most thankful for: The strength and support of more than 115 local businesses, who stepped up to help raise the highest Turkey Trot total in history. The grit and determination of our friends and neighbors — especially Josh Dann and Ben LeBlanc, who raised and ran more than anyone else, for the second year in a row! — who trotted thousands of miles throughout the month of November! And for the staggering $73,000 that will go directly towards keeping our neighbors happy, healthy and productive! That’s right, YOU helped raise more than $73,000 for your community!
