I write this letter in support of Joseph Provoncha for Essex County clerk.

I have worked as a title searcher for private abstract companies out of the Essex County Clerk’s Office for almost 35 years. Being in the office every day, I see firsthand how well it is run. Joe understands the day-to-day workings of the office and keeps himself current on laws and regulations that affect it and the public it serves. He is knowledgeable, accessible and hands-on.

Joe has done a great job bringing the office into the modern digital age. The programs implemented under his administration benefit the office, the professionals that rely on the office and the residents of Essex County. He has made the office easier to access and navigate, not only for day-to-day users but also for the public at large, both from within the office and from afar.

As an Essex County taxpayer and a professional who deals with the Essex County Clerk’s Office on a regular basis, I believe Joe is a valuable asset. I support Joe Provoncha for Essex County clerk and will be voting for him on Nov. 5. I encourage you to do the same.
