To the editor:

Congresswoman Stefanik has taken the initiative to fight and protect the environment in our district. Considering the diverse ecosystem of New York state, and of the North Country in particular, Elise has made it a big part of her mission to introduce and sponsor legislation that would benefit and protect our environment.

Elise’s dedication to keeping the promises she makes and looking out for her constituents makes Elise the best possible candidate to fight for the North Country. She introduced the Stamp Out Invasive Species Act and sponsored the North Country National Scenic Trail Route Adjustment Act. She has fought for funding for acid rain research, and she doubled the funding for the Lake Champlain Basin Program. These are all concrete ways that Congresswoman Stefanik has shown her loyalty and dedication to the conservation and protection of the North Country.

By voting for Elise in the upcoming elections, you will be voting for the development and betterment of the North Country and its environment.
