Lindy Ellis is right for legislature
To the editor:
I’m writing to endorse Lindy Ellis for Franklin County legislator.
I’ve known Lindy for years, and served with her on the Parks and Trails Advisory Board for several years as well. She is always contributing new ideas, and willing to discuss all points of view to find a way forward. She is community-minded, supporting many different local efforts in addition to the PTAB, including the Skate Park (for which she was perhaps the main spark plug), the Franklin County Industrial Development Agency, the Canoodlers (a big hit in the Winter Carnival), and many more local activities. Look around at a local event, you’ll find her there. Coupled with her years of senior management experience at Corning, she’s a great fit for any challenging leadership position.
We need someone in the county legislature who is focused on our part of the County, and who has the smarts and management expertise to get things done in that environment.
I’m convinced that Lindy Ellis is the right person for the job.
