Image of the Week, from Historic Saranac Lake
We know it doesn’t look like this yet, but they say April showers bring May flowers, so we’re thinking spring! This unidentified woman was a patient at Trudeau Sanatorium in the 1930s. The Sanatorium grounds were (and still are!) covered in beautiful flowering bushes and trees like this one. The beautiful environment was an important part of the patients’ care! Keep your eyes out for blooms soon! (Photo provided — Historic Saranac Lake Collection, 2025.29.1.40. Gift of the Waltien Family in Memory of Stevenson Waltien and Frances O’Brien Waltien)
