The cat’s meow

Why you should get a cat

Cats are the best. If you don’t have a cat, you should get one. If you can’t get one, you could visit the cat shelter or foster.

I have two cats of my own. When I’m upset, I sit down, and one of my cats, Beats, will rub up to me and get in my face and purr, and I will pet her until I calm down. She also likes to stare at birds through the window, and try climbing it to reach where the birds perch, around the top of it.

My other cat, Moon, likes to meow to me about everything under the moon. If you talk to her, though, she will put her paw on your mouth. Like Beats, she is great for comfort. Unlike Beats, she doesn’t get in your face. She just sits next to you, and lets you pet her. Sometimes that’s better.

Both of my cats also like to squabble a lot, and they will smack each other with their furry paws, steal each other’s spots on a bed, and chase each other around the house. It is the funniest thing. If I’m bored, I will just watch one of them doing whatever they are doing. They’re always doing something. They sleep a lot, but there’s almost always at least one of them awake. As I’m writing this right now, Beats is asleep and Moon is sitting on my bed, looking at me and purring. I think she wants me to pet her, but I am busy right now. They are very entertaining, another reason why you should get one.

Anyway, I like to draw a lot, and one of the things I enjoy drawing the most and find the easiest to draw are my two cats. I always draw them doing silly things. For example, when it’s raining and I open the door, they will just stare at the rain for a solid minute, and then turn the other way. Or I’ll draw Beats sitting on top of the fridge, or Moon howling at my door until I open it. You get the idea. Cats are just the best.

Even stray cats are the best. If you don’t have the money for a shelter cat, there are plenty of strays you could adopt or take care of. I have met many stray cats, and they are always fun to see. There are a few cats that come to mind. For example, Vivo. He just walked into my house whenever he felt like it, and Moon was not happy. She would smack him and he would not retaliate. Beats did not care as much. Right now, there’s Lolo, who just walks around the backyard whenever he feels like it. Even that is great to see.

I also like to visit the cat shelter a lot. They always have a lot of cats there that get adopted weekly, and I always want at least one of them. But, too many cats would be too much to handle. But I always visit them, and it’s always great.

Cats are calm, adorable and a great companion to have around. So, if you’ve been thinking about getting a cat, this is your sign.
