This photograph was taken 101 years ago, sometime after the FIRST fire at the Berkeley House on Jan. 8, 1925. This shot was taken from Academy Street, looking across Main Street to what is now Berkeley Square. The Berkeley House was rebuilt and remained open until it burned down for a second time on Jan. 10, 1981. Do you remember the second fire?
