Francis Berger Trudeau was born on Jan. 2, 1887, the youngest child of Lottie and Edward Livingston Trudeau. Francis was the only one of the Trudeaus’ four children to outlive them. After his father’s death in 1915, Francis “inherited” Edward’s work on tuberculosis and at the Sanatorium, and practiced medicine from 118 Main St. for many years.
