Please note, Historic Saranac Lake and the Saranac Laboratory Museum will be open by appointment only through February 5 while we undertake our annual cleaning and maintenance! Visitors can call or purchase tickets online in advance to see the museum during this time. We’re looking to the collections for inspiration as we tidy up and prepare for Winter Carnival--this photograph was taken by Mary Ives Baldwin, who documented their family’s life in Saranac Lake while her husband Edward worked alongside Dr. Trudeau at the Saranac Laboratory.
