Historic Saranac Lake needs your help identifying the who, what, where, when and/or why of this photo. This photograph shows Henry P. Leis, Jr., left, with his unidentified bandmates. We do not know the names of the men playing drums or trumpet, and we do not know where they were performing. We do know it was taken in 1943, and that Henry’s father Henry Sr. was a noted local piano maker and tuner who came to Saranac Lake for his health. Can you tell us anything about this photograph?
