This postcard shows Hesseltine’s Milk Bar, which was located on Lake Colby at the end of Broadway. It was operated by Maurice Hesseltine, who had previously driven the bus at Trudeau Sanatorium. The Milk Bar was an offshoot of his dairy, and ran from the early 1940s until it closed in 1948. It eventually became the home of Doty’s Meat Market.
