Aug. 26 was National Dog Day, which is very fitting for our new exhibit! In honor of Very Good Boys and Girls, we’re sharing one of our favorite photographs in the Pet Portraits exhibit. This hungry dog is Peggy Jones, who loved to beg for food scraps from tuberculosis patients at the Clara Black Cottage.
