Debbie Rawdon (Giddings)

Quality:Fine

On Wednesday, Feb. 11 Debbie Rawdon (Giddings) went running home to the Lord, who was holding His arms wide open for her, after battling long and hard with a tumor that took over the left side of her brain in November of 2025.

Debbie was born on June 16, 1962, in Troy, NY, the daughter of Albert and Laurel (Shene) Giddings.

She is survived by her loving husband Jeff Rawdon; daughters Sami Rawdon (with fur baby Lucy), Amy Rovillo and Kassie Rawdon; sons Shane Rawdon and William Corrow; mother Laurel Giddings; three sisters, Charlene Banker, Lynne Symonds and Wanda Callaghan; three brothers, Bert Giddings, Mark Giddings and Brett Giddings; grandchildren Hope and Trae Nelson, Skylar Dashno and Anthony Goddeau, and many nieces, nephews, other family, friends and coworkers.

Debbie loved God and her family more than anything else in the world and was always the first person to offer her support in anything anyone needed, even if it meant opening up her home. She was the unbreakable rock for her family and friends and was always the first person anyone ran to for support or simply just to talk. Her hugs and smiles were the cure-all to problems and her laughter was joyful noise to all who knew her; many times, that’s all anyone needed from her.

Funeral arrangements are in care of the Fortune-Keough Funeral Home in Saranac Lake. At the family’s request, there will be no calling hours or funeral services at this time. Family and friends can share their condolences and memories at fortunekeoughfuneralhome.com.
