Stanley Smith
Stanley Smith passed away on Nov. 30, 2025, in Navarre, Florida, at the home of his son. He was born in Saranac Lake on Oct. 7, 1932. During his life, he was an avid outdoorsman — hiking, climbing and swimming were his frequent pursuits. He also enjoyed traveling all over the country. He worked for Allstate Insurance for over 25 years and retired.
He was predeceased by two wives, Evelyn (Comstock) Smith and Alpha (Winters) Smith; daughter Sharon and son Daryl; and a granddaughter, Michelle.
Left to cherish his memory are his children, Gary Smith (and Victoria), Diane Jacobson (and Dwain Burns) and Sandra Agoney (and Amos); and Ellie Smith (Daryl). He is also survived by five grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and three loved nieces.
