Linda Planty

Linda was born on Nov. 11, 1953, in Malone, the daughter of Charles Hosler and Dorothy Johnson. Linda was the oldest of three children.

Linda attended school in Malone and moved to Lake Placid when she was 19. She was a very hard worker and enjoyed doing all she did. She married Kenneth Planty Jr. in the spring of 1973.

Linda is preceded in death by her beloved son, Christopher Hosler Planty and her granddaughter, Elizabeth Planty. Linda is survived by her husband Kenneth Planty, Sister Brenda Hosler, brother Charles Hosler, son Matthew (Shyanne) Planty, daughter Carol Planty, Grandchildren Kyle, Jacob, Brandon, Vee, Marissa, great-grandchildren Dean, Faye, Emily Rose.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 14, at St. Agnes Church in Lake Placid. Father John Yonkovig will officiate. Burial will follow at North Elba Cemetery.
