Death notice: Frederick Calder

Word has been received of the death of Frederick Coverly Calder, 90, of Lake Placid, who died on Tuesday, Nov. 4, 2025. Frederick was born on July 19, 1935, in Brooklyn. There will be a memorial gathering in Lake Placid in July 2026. In keeping with Fred’s devotion to Lake Placid, contributions in his memory may be made to the Adirondack Community Foundation, Lake Placid. The M.B. Clark, Inc., Funeral Home in Lake Placid is in charge of arrangements.
