Celebration of life: Barbara Kavey

A Funeral Mass for Barbara Ann Yaworski Kavey, lovingly known as “Hanya,” aged 94, formerly of Tupper Lake, will be celebrated on Friday, Nov. 21, at 10 a.m. at St. Alphonsus Holy Name of Jesus Parish, 48 Wawbeek Avenue, Tupper Lake. Following the service, interment will take place at Holy Name Cemetery on Main Street in Tupper Lake, where she will be laid to rest beside her beloved husband, mother and siblings. Family and friends are warmly invited to a lunch at Guido’s Pizzeria of 116 Park Street, Tupper Lake, after the burial. Mrs. Kavey passed away peacefully at her daughter’s home in Colorado on Friday, Oct. 3, 2025. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Frary Funeral Home, Tupper Lake.
