Service notice: C. Francis Varga
C. Francis Varga, MD, 94, passed away at his home in Lake Placid on July 31, 2024. Born on Sept. 26, 1929, in Velky Ruskov, Slovakia, he was the son of George and Marie (Bacinsky) Varga.
Dr. Varga was a veteran of the Korean War, serving in the United States Army. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 17 at St. Agnes Church in Lake Placid.
