Death notice: William C. Paye, Jr.
Word has been received of the death of William C. “Bill/Buck” Paye Jr., age 46, of Saranac Lake, who died on Sunday, Jan. 2, 2022 at the Adirondack Medical Center.
Calling hours are set to take place at the Fortune-Keough Funeral Home in Saranac Lake on Friday, Jan. 7, 2022 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. A funeral service will immediately follow at the funeral home at 6 p.m. with Rev. Eric Olsen officiating. Family and friends attending in person calling hours and funeral services are asked to please follow all COVID-19 recommendations including social distancing and wearing a mask. Due to extenuating circumstances of the COVID-19 pandemic Buck’s family understands that it may make it difficult to attend in person calling hours and services, for those unable to attend, the funeral service will be webcast on Fortune-Keough Funeral Homes Facebook page at 6 p.m.
In keeping with Buck’s favorite types of shirts, his family requests anyone attending in person calling hours to please wear your favorite Nascar, Subaru, flannel or work shirt in his honor. A complete obituary will be available on Friday.
