Catherine M. Carter

Catherine was born on Dec. 16, 1921 in Rouses Point, New York, to Louis and Emelia (Rouet) Babin. She married Clayton H. Carter on July 26, 1941.

Catherine is survived by her son Creighton (Cherry) and her daughters Barbara, Sandra and Linda; seven grandchildren and several great grandchildren.

Catherine was predeceased by her parents, her husband Clayton in 1964, and her sisters: Roseann, Edith and Christina.

The family would like to thank the doctors and nurses at AMC-Saranac Lake for their dedication and kindness to Catherine during her final days.

Funeral arrangements are in care of the Fortune-Keough Funeral Home in Saranac Lake. There will be no calling hours and burial will be in St. Bernard’s Cemetery at a later date at the convenience of the family.
