Henry Michael Cooney Jr.

Henry Michael Cooney, Jr., age 76, of Lake Placid passed away May 30, 2020 at his home in Lake Placid. Mr. Cooney was born Dec. 2, 1943 in Durham, North Carolina. He is the son of Henry Michael and Catherine (O’Brien) Cooney. He is the husband of Anita J. (Glace) Cooney. Mr. Cooney served in the United States Army during the Vietnam war from 1966-69. He was employed by Hicksville School District, New York as an English teacher. A private family funeral service was held Thursday, June 4 at St. Agnes Church in Lake Placid followed by burial at St. Agnes Cemetery. The M.B. Clark, Inc.
