Dora L. Santor

Dora was born on April 12, 1933, in Fernwood, the daughter of Charles and Cora (Mattison) Bennett. Dora married Robert Santor on Sept. 18, 1993, in Beekmantown. He predeceased her on June 18, 2018.

Dora was an amazing woman who lived life fully and was all about her three daughters. She had been employed in list services at the American Management Association in Saranac Lake and was active in fundraisers for the American Heart Association.

Dora is survived by her three daughters: Wanda (Rusty) Knobel of Saranac Lake, Patty (Robert) Breyette of Morrisonville and Pamela Carroll (Dennis Shoemaker) of New Jersey. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Dora was predeceased by her mother and father, her husband, and her siblings: Charles, Grover, Ernest and Elwin, and her sister Sarah Ann.

Funeral arrangements are in care of the Fortune-Keough Funeral Home. At Dora’s request, there will be no calling hours. Burial will take place at the convenience of the family at a later date.
