Shelly Hamilton-Hadynski

Born in Saranac Lake on April 30, 1973, she was the daughter of David and Virginia (Wood) Struss. Shelly, married George Hadynski on Dec. 27, 2008 in Gabriels.

Shelly loved her family and life in the Adirondack Mountains. She loved her flowers and gardening, and most especially loved her husband George.

Shelly is survived by her husband George Hadynski of Saranac Lake, her mother Virginia Struss of Saranac Lake, her son David Hamilton, and her daughter Cassandra Hamilton of Jacksonville, Florida; her sister Catherine (James) Vaughn of Massena; and her best friends Tom and Natasha Barkley and their children Pasha and Lyra of Charlotte, North Carolina and Andre of Russia.

Shelly was preceded in death by her father David Struss, her father-in-law Thomas Hadynski, and her mother-in-law Joyce Hadynski.

Calling hours are set to take place from noon to 3 p.m. Thursday, May 24 at the Fortune-Keough Funeral Home in Saranac Lake. A funeral service will immediately follow at 3 p.m. at the Fortune-Keough Funeral Home with the Rev. Randy Cross officiating. Burial will immediately follow at St. Bernard’s Cemetery in Saranac Lake.
