Patricia A. Hathaway

Born July 6, 1958 in Tupper Lake, she was the daughter of Carl and Valda (Ryan) Hathaway. She was a graduate of Saranac Lake High School and served in the Navy in 1980. Upon leaving the Navy, she worked at the Ray Brook Federal Prison and then changed careers to care for others at Sunmount.

Patty is survived by her father Carl Hathaway of Tupper Lake; sister Judy Phillips of Plattsburgh; her son Curtis and Victoria Switzer of Tupper Lake, son Travis Switzer of Glens Falls; niece Dove Phillips and Dan Infantino of Plattsburgh; two grandnieces: Sage and Piper; and her three angels (grandchildren): Jenna, Averie and Noah.

She is preceded in death by her mother Valda.

In addition to being a mother and grandmother, she was the neighborhood mom. Patty was known for her beautiful and caring soul.

A Celebration of Life is scheduled for 5 p.m. Saturday, April 7, 2018 at the VFW in Tupper Lake.
