Louise I. Doyle
Louise I. Doyle died Thursday, April 28, 2016, at her home in Lake Placid, surrounded by loving family members.
Louise was born on March 27, 1927, in Hoboken, New Jersey.
She lived in Norwich and raised her family there. She was a nurse with several doctors in Norwich over the years and worked in Chenango Memorial Hospital as well as at the Chenango Valley Home until she was 82 years old.
She was married to Robert G. Doyle in 1946, and they had three children together: Robert, Patricia and Susan, all surviving. She has eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
She would like to be remembered in the following way:
“I’d like the memory of me to be a happy one,
“I’d like to leave an afterglow of smiles when life is done.
“I’d like to leave an echo whispering softly down the ways, of happy times and laughing times and bright and sunny days.
“I’d like the tears of those who grieve, to dry before the sun.
“Of happy memories that I leave when life is done.”
There will be a private service with her family at a later date and no calling hours.
The M.B. Clark Inc. Funeral Home in Lake Placid is in charge of arrangements.
Relatives and friends are invited to share a memory, upload a photograph or leave online condolences at www.mbclarkfuneralhome.com.
