SARANAC LAKE — The Adirondack Singers will begin their Fall 2019 rehearsal schedule on Tuesday, September 17, at 7:15 pm at the Adirondack Alliance Church on Lapan Hwy, Saranac Lake. Rehearsals will continue every Tuesday evening through Dec. 3. A special dress rehearsal will be held Friday, Dec. 6.

The group of community singers from the Tri-Lakes and beyond will be preparing their Annual Winter Holiday Concert, to be performed at 2 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 8, at the First United Methodist Church in Saranac Lake.

Musical Director Karen Butters announced that the program will include some new treatments of several traditional Christmas songs, such as “God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen” and “Still, Still, Still”. Plans are to revisit some of the Singers’ favorites, which will include “Walking in the Air” from The Snowman, “Night Before Christmas” and other surprises.

New members are always welcome in the Adirondack Singers. No auditions are needed, only a commitment to learn the music and perform in the concerts. Nominal dues are charged every season: call for further information.
