Youth art contest accepting submissions through Sunday
SARANAC LAKE — The Saranac Lake Local Development Corporation is running a youth art contest for ages 4-18 through April 12.
What reminds you of Saranac Lake? What does Saranac Lake mean to you?
Winners from three age groups will see their design printed on a mug, towel or tote bag. Winning designs will be featured on merchandise sold locally in Saranac Lake. All proceeds will go directly into a community grants fund supporting local projects and initiatives led by the SLLDC.
“We’re excited to get everyone’s perspectives on what they love about Saranac Lake,” SLLDC Board Chair Stephanie Bolduc Mikesell said.
The “We Love Saranac Lake” art contest offers young ones a chance to watch their creativity directly impact the community they live in.
The SLLDC is a not-for-profit organization on a mission to improve the quality of life for village residents and visitors of Saranac Lake through the creation and retention of jobs and through the development of projects that provide community or economic development benefits.
