SARANAC LAKE — The Women’s College Scholarship Club is accepting applications for $3,000 scholarships which will be awarded to five continuing education students and five graduating Saranac Lake High School seniors. Specific details for applying can be found on the website slwcscholarshipclub.com under “Apply”, on the top right of the home page. All scholarships will be awarded to both male and female applicants.

Both graduating Saranac Lake High School students and adults living in Franklin or Essex County who wish to return to school can apply to receive a $3,000 scholarship with a submitted application. Money for the scholarships is raised by the club through generous community support. The Women’s College Scholarship Club has an 88-year history in Saranac Lake of awarding scholarships to local students.

When members of the community see club members at local fundraising events, in their blue aprons, consider supporting the fundraising effort which is designed to “award scholarships that empower local students to achieve their educational goals.”

Deadline for continuing education is May 9.
