Enterprise to roll out new website design Tuesday
Same address and content, Lake Placid News to undergo similar switch in coming weeks
SARANAC LAKE — As part of its transition in ownership from the Ogden Newspapers to the Gazette News Group, the Adirondack Daily Enterprise will be changing its website design, starting Tuesday.
The paper officially changed hands in early March, although the website design and back-end support systems have remained with Ogden’s technology as Gazette has been building out and testing the Enterprise’s soon-to-be website.
While the look will be different, the content will not, both new and old. Throughout the past few weeks, company staff have been copying over articles and photos from the old website so they will continue to be accessible.
Top local news stories will remain where they belong: front and center. Readers will also be able to find local sports, state and national news on the website. With Gazette being headquartered in Schenectady and owning several Capital Region newspapers, the new website design will make it easier to integrate the company’s robust state-level politics and health coverage.
The website domain, adirondackdailyenterprise.com, will remain the same, so no need to change your browser bookmarks. There are also not expected to be any interruptions to online-only subscriptions or online access that comes with print subscriptions. Should anyone experience issues logging into the new website, please contact Brian Zarelli at bzarelli@dailygazette.net.
The Lake Placid News’ website will remain the same for now as its new version is still in the design process. That eventual changeover is expected in the next few weeks, and when it happens, the same ground rules will apply.
The Enterprise sincerely thanks our readers’ continued support as the Enterprise and Lake Placid News move forth into their next chapters. Without you, this newspaper couldn’t strive to deliver quality, credible and informative stories on the Tri-Lakes and surrounding communities. And that is exactly what the Enterprise will continue doing.
