Benny Mitchell and Will Colvard of Adams Glass — along with Josh Liberty on the ground — remove and replace the entrance and exit doors at the Grand Union grocery store in Saranac Lake on Friday. The former electric doors were very old, and did not fully open for several seconds. The new entrance will be more accessible, too, workers said. The work was frenetic, as dozens of shoppers came in and out of the shop while the entranceway was in active construction.
