Fish and game club to sponsor DEC camp
SARANAC LAKE — The Saranac Lake Fish and Game Club recently announced that it will sponsor up to four children to attend a New York State Department of Environmental Conservation camp in 2026.
The DEC summer camp program offers week-long adventures in conservation education for children ages 11 to 17. The cost for each person selected will be paid by the SLF&GC.
DEC operates four residential camps for children:

2. Camp DeBruce in Livingston Manor (Sullivan County)
3. Camp Rushford in Caneadea (Allegany County)
4. Pack Forest in Warrensburg (Warren County)
Camp sessions are six days long. Visit the camp weeks page to see what week’s camp runs and what sportsman education classes are offered (gun, bow or trapping) at each camp each week. Additional information can be found at tinyurl.com/8c8p39z4.
