SARANAC LAKE — The Silver Skaters Program, 10 free public skating sessions for adults 50 and over, will return to the Saranac Lake Civic Center on Monday.
The first session in the program will take place on Monday from 3:45 to 4:45 p.m. The full schedule will be available on the Saranac Lake Civic Center’s website and Facebook page.
“The Silver Skaters Program is an incredibly popular offering,” said Marnie Crane of the Saranac Lake Civic Center. “It was developed in 2023 in partnership with Adirondack Health to bring lifelong — and new — skaters back onto the ice. Many adults treat it as a social event, reconnecting with friends and making new ones. We’re grateful to Adirondack Health for helping us to create this opportunity.”
Skate rentals will be offered for $5 at the civic center’s pro shop.
