SARANAC LAKE — The annual after-school Downtown Saranac Lake Trick-or-Treat will return this year on Halloween.

From 2 to 5 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 31, the village of Saranac Lake will close Main Street and Broadway from the Harrietstown Town Hall to the post office for trick-or-treating.

Participating businesses will display a sign to alert trick-or-treaters that they are welcome to stop by. Parents are invited to bring their little ghosts, witches, superheroes and creatures of the night to enjoy a safe and festive trick-or-treating experience.
