Tupper Lake DPW: Cedar Street traffic restriction on Tuesday

TUPPER LAKE — Travel is expected to be restricted along the portion of Cedar Street from its intersection with Main Street to its southwest end between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m. Tuesday as the village DPW will be milling the road surface.

Residents are asked to park their vehicles on adjacent roadways. Emergency services have been notified of the anticipated construction work, and accommodations have been made with them in the event of an emergency, according to a notice issued by the village Board of Trustees.

The board noted that any affected resident who may need special accommodations should call village Clerk Kathy Savage at 518-359-3341.

The opposite side of Cedar Street — from Main Street northeast to Amell Lane, Seward Street and Woodland Drive — will not be impacted and there are no traffic restrictions there.

The milling is weather permitting, although dry conditions are very likely to be in place then across the region, according to the National Weather Service’s Burlington, Vermont office, which serves the Tri-Lakes region.

Starting at $3.92/week.
