SARANAC LAKE — The Saranac Lake Area Chamber of Commerce has announced its Women in Business Conference, “Inspire & Ignite,” bringing women from throughout the Adirondacks together once again this year. The conference will take place on Friday, March 7 at Hotel Saranac.

The event will feature a full day of networking, learning and empowerment, with interactive workshops and panel discussions led by successful women in business. This year’s keynote speaker, Kathy Bonavist of Paul Smith’s College, is a powerful leader and positive influence in the community. Her keynote address aims to leave attendees feeling inspired and excited about their futures.

Breakout sessions will cover various topics and be led by women in the community who have made a significant impact and are eager to share their experiences. The late afternoon will offer additional options for guided activities to further connect and engage participants.

“I am so excited to host this conference again,” said Christine Farah, director of the Saranac Lake Area Chamber of Commerce. “As an attendee last year, I gained so much knowledge and inspiration from being in a room full of like-minded women.”

Additionally, three women who embody positivity, make a meaningful impact in the community, and demonstrate leadership in their fields will be recognized with special awards.
