SARANAC LAKE — The Saranac Lake Winter Carnival History Hut and Gift Shop will open on Feb. 2.

The history hut is located at the Lake Flower boat launch on River Street next to the Ice Palace. The hut will display photos and memorabilia of past and present carnivals while the gift shop will sell buttons, posters, t-shirts, mugs and much more carnival related items.

Hours for the history hut and gift shop are:

¯ Friday, Feb. 2: 1 to 5 p.m.

¯ Saturday and Sunday, Feb. 2-3: 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

¯ Monday and Tuesday, Feb. 5-6: 1 to 5 p.m.

¯ Wednesday, Feb. 7: 1 to 7 p.m.

¯ Thursday, Feb. 8: 1 to 5 p.m.

¯ Friday, Feb. 9: 12 to 6 p.m.

¯ Saturday, Feb. 10: 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

¯ Sunday, Feb. 11: 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
