TUPPER LAKE — Get your hiking shoes laced up for the 2023 Tupper Lake Triad Challenge, hosted by the Tupper Lake Rotary on Sept. 2.

This one-day cumulative timed race kicks off at 9 a.m. from Coney Mountain’s trailhead, with check-in starting at 8 a.m.

The challenge includes conquering the three Triad hikes: Coney Mountain, Mount Arab and Goodman Mountain. The $45 per person entry fee — or $135 for a three-person relay team — covers a T-shirt, lunch voucher and a free pint at P-2’s Irish Pub. Limited to the first 40 participants, all proceeds benefit Rotary projects in Tupper Lake. A discount will be offered for those who register before Aug. 25. Open to climbers of all levels.
