These beavers have taken up residence at Moody Pond in Saranac Lake. “They appear to be building a lodge on this floating raft,” local nature photographer Mikayla Ploof wrote in an email to the Enterprise. “I have seen loons and geese use it for nests over the last few years, but never did I think beavers would try to build a lodge on it.
