LAKE PLACID — The Lake Placid-North Elba Historical Society has announced that its annual Heritage Fair will be held this Saturday, Aug. 13 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the History Museum, 242 Station St. This annual community event is free and features a bake sale, used book sale, silent auction, flea market, live music by Scott Sileo, children’s activities and more. There is also an online auction with bidding through Aug. 13, accessible at auctria.events/lakeplacidhistoryauction2022.

Residents and visitors can support the Historical Society through this fundraising event. All funds raised will directly support the Lake Placid-North Elba Historical Society and The History Museum in their mission to preserve and present our community’s history in ways that are educational and enriching for residents and visitors.
