North Elba Transfer Station accepts brush for free through May 1
LAKE PLACID — Following the recent snowstorm, the North Elba Transfer Station is accepting brush or tree branches that may have fallen into residents’ yards free of charge.
The transfer station will be accepting the material for free –from North Elba and village of Lake Placid residents — until May 1, according to North Elba Superintendent of Highways Ken Porter.
The North Elba Transfer Station is located at 74 Recycle Circle Lane. It’s open everyday except Thursdays, Sundays and holidays from 8 a.m. to 4:15 p.m.
