Terry Reed, the manager of Village Mercantile in Saranac Lake, stocks Christmas items in the store Friday night. Village Mercantile, on Main Street, celebrated 10 years of business at the end of October. Reed said it was their best October for sales since the store opened in 2011. The Left Bank Cafe, at 36 Broadway, will host a celebration for the store’s anniversary on Nov. 19 from 5 to 8 p.m. There will be a live pianist, a 10-year birthday cake and plenty of “Saranac Lake-Opoly” games to play.
