LAKE PLACID — The state Department of Environmental Conservation on Tuesday announced that the state boat launch on Lake Placid will be closed temporary Wednesday and Thursday for routine maintenance.

The boat launch is located on Mirror Lake Drive in the village of Lake Placid. Work planned includes painting parking lot stripes.

The boat launch will reopen for public use on Friday.
