Lt. Gov. Hochul will speak at ANCA green energy summit

SARANAC LAKE — The Adirondack North Country Association has announced that Lt. Gov. Kathy Hochul will be the keynote speaker at virtual summit on green energy transportation it is hosting next week.

Hochul will speak at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 29 the opening day of the summit called “Clean Transportation: the Adirondack ON-RAMP.”

“She will speak about the North Country’s clean transportation efforts in relation to New York state’s goals, incentives and policies, including the Climate Leadership and Community Protection Act,” ANCA Communications Associate Audrey Schwartzberg wrote in an email.

The summit will last through Friday, Oct. 2 with a closing session on Monday, Oct. 5. The cost is $95 for general registration and $75 for ANCA members.
