Tupper Lake History Museum is now open
TUPPER LAKE — The Tupper Lake History Museum is now open, as part of New York’s Phase 4 of COVID-19 recovery.
The museum is now in its second summer in the rebuilt train station on Depot Street, in the Junction section of town. It is open Tuesday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Saturdays from 1 to 4 p.m., until Labor Day.
Precautions include mandatory masks and gloves (provided).
New features for this summer include an exhibit on old-time home life, a reorganized display on Sunmount Hospital and, in honor of the coming River Pigs baseball team, a small display on 1930s semi-pro baseball in Tupper Lake.
