AuSABLE FORKS — State police charged an AuSable Forks man with felony and misdemeanor criminal mischief after a domestic dispute Saturday.

At approximately 10:37 p.m., State Police responded to a residence on Fern Lake Road in AuSable Forks. An investigation revealed that Gary E. Miller II, 43, broke the victim’s cellphone when she tried to call 911 to report an argument they were having.

Miller was arrested and charged with third-degree criminal mischief, a felony, and fourth-degree criminal mischief, a misdemeanor. Police said he was arraigned in the Black Brook town court, where he was released on his own recognizance.
