Franklin County properties go to auction for unpaid taxes

MALONE — Franklin County is holding a tax foreclosure auction Wednesday at 11 a.m., and several of the real estate properties being sold are in the Tri-Lakes.

The auction is run by Absolute Auctions and Realty Inc., and will be held at Mo’s Pub and Grill at 3357 state Route 11 in Malone. There is an 11% buyer’s premium. Online bidding is available.

Below is a list of the 11 auction properties in the southern half of the county, covering the towns of Tupper Lake, Harrietstown, Santa Clara, Franklin, Brighton and Duane.

Tupper Lake

¯ A 992-square-foot, one-family residence on 0.15 acres of land at 4 Leboeuf St. in the village. It is one story tall, was built around 1940, has a porch, two bedrooms and one bath. Its full market value is listed at $45,263.

¯ A 1,280-square-foot, one-family residence on 75 by 150 feet of land at 26 Pine St. in the village. It is two stories tall, was built in 1903, has five bedrooms, one bathroom and a porch. Its full market value is listed at $64,947.

¯ A manufactured house on 100 by 140 feet of land at 19 Facteau Ave. in the village with a listed full market value of $39,789

¯ A 1,250-square-foot, one-family residence on 60 by 90 feet of land at 226 Park St. in the village. It is two stories tall, was built in 1910, has two bedrooms, one-and-a-half bathrooms, a porch and a garage with an apartment. Its full market value is listed at $81,474.

¯ A 900-square-foot, one-family residence on 2.54 acres of land at 44 Mitchell Lane in the town. It is two stories tall, was built in 2002, has one bedroom, one bathroom, a porch and rear parking. Its full market value is listed at $88,842.

¯ A quarter-acre of vacant residential land in the village of Tupper Lake with waterfront on Wolf Creek and a full market value listed at $12,316.

Saranac Lake

¯ A 1,235-square-foot, one-family residence on 0.25 acres of land at 487 county Route 47 in the town of Harrietstown. It is reportedly one-and-one-seventh stories tall, was built in 1930, has three bedrooms, one-and-a-half bathrooms and a porch. It has a full market value is listed at $92,800.

Town of Franklin

¯ A 0.69-acre plot of vacant rural land at 684 county Route 55 in the town with an estimated market value of $16,900

Town of Santa Clara
